FEEDMORE WNY CANNED FOOD DRIVE

Throughout the months of November and December, while government services were on hold, we partnered with FeedMore WNY to supply food to people in need.

Our community came together in an incredible way for the FeedMore WNY Canned Food Drive. Together, we collected over 1,000 pounds of food, which will provide meals for 980 families right here in WNY!

Huge thank you to every single ministry and member who made this happen. Special shoutout to the Building Blocks Family Ministry for their amazing Red Bag collection and to T&T Legacy for organizing a workplace drive.

Every can, every dollar, every bit of time you gave is a blessing to families in need. Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus.

AFSP OUT OF DARKNESS WALK

In September, our church family joined our community for the Out of the Darkness Walk to support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Together, we stood in solidarity with those raising funds and awareness for people struggling with their mental health, reminding them that they are not alone.

Our community came together in an incredible way as members from multiple ministries walked side by side. Representatives from our Horizons, Thrive, and V412 ministries joined together to show love, encouragement, and support for those who are fighting difficult battles.

We were also honored to see our Senior Pastor Daniel Macaluso and his band, 5D, help bring joy to the event by playing music that encouraged people to smile, celebrate life, and find moments of hope throughout the day.

Every step we took was a reminder that people matter, that their lives are valuable, and that there is light even in the darkest moments. We were grateful for the opportunity to stand with our community, support those who are struggling, and share the hope that Jesus loves them and gave His life for them.

WALK TO END ALZHEIMER'S

In October, we partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, joining our community to raise awareness and funds to help find a cure for this devastating disease. Supporting the Alzheimer’s Association is something our church has been honored to do for many years.

Our church family walked in support of those affected by Alzheimer’s, including our member Maria Morlock, whose family has been directly impacted by this disease.

A special thank you to our Horizons Ministry, who volunteered in the Memory Garden, handing out flowers and walking alongside participants to show love and encouragement.

We are also grateful to partner with Theresa Gantz from TMG Wellness, who helps lead our monthly Respite Care gatherings, providing massage therapy and relaxation for caregivers and their loved ones.

Every step we take is a reminder that families facing Alzheimer’s are not alone. Thank you for helping us support our community and believe for an end to this terrible disease.

CONNECTLIFE BLOOD DRIVE

In July, we hosted a ConnectLife Blood Drive after our Sunday service, giving our church family and community the opportunity to donate blood that would go directly back to people in need right here in Western New York.

Our community responded in an incredible way. The ConnectLife bus filled up quickly, with nearly every available appointment slot taken and many of our members stepping forward to donate.

This event was open to all of our ministries and anyone in the community who wanted to participate, creating a powerful moment where people came together to give something of themselves to help others.

Every donation was a reminder of the example Jesus set for us through His sacrifice. By giving of ourselves, we were able to serve our neighbors and bring life and hope to those in our community who need it most.

SPRING SWEEP EARTH DAY CLEANUP

In the spring, we partnered with Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper for their Spring Sweep Earth Day Cleanup, joining volunteers across Western New York to care for our parks and waterways after the winter season.

Our Horizons, V412, and Thrive ministries worked together to clean up the Outer Harbor, collecting trash and helping prepare the area for the summer months when our community gathers there.

We have been honored to work alongside Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper for several years, carefully logging the trash we collect so the data can help inform lawmakers and drive change around plastics, waste, and environmental protection.

Every bag of trash removed is a small step toward caring for the earth and the community God has entrusted to us. Thank you to everyone who gave their time to help keep Western New York beautiful.
